The position involves call-only coverage, with an expected patient load of 10 per shift. While the facility is not currently accepting multiple providers, your singular contribution will make a significant impact. Practice Details: Board Certification: Required Certifications Needed: American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM), American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery Licensing: Providers must have an active license in TX or qualify for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Trauma Level: 2 Your role as a Cardiovascular Surgeon in this locum position does not require hospital/surgery center privileges or admissions. Temporary privileges are not available, and the facility is not currently seeking reimbursement for licensing costs. Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Response Time Required: 20 mins Locums Call is For: Both Description/Other Details: This is an urgent need, and only providers who are both cardiothoracic and vascular certified will be considered for this position.
