Job description
Full-time general surgeon Join an established multispecialty practice Expand the general surgery service line Monday-Friday schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Block OR scheduling 7 days of call per month Opportunity to precept medical students and residents Competitive guaranteed salary based on experience Annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment Bonus equal to 100% of shared practice profits Student loan repayment assistance available Paid health insurance in exchange for precepting residents and medical students Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage W-2 employment with optional supplemental benefits and retirement match Paid house-hunting and relocation Monthly cell phone allowance CME allowance and CME paid time off Annual PTO and holidays Monthly stipend or sign-on bonus available for residents and fellows who commit early Board-certified or board-eligible general surgeon Georgia medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact participation required South Georgia About 65 miles to Tallahassee, roughly 1.5 hours by car, and about 50 miles to Valdosta, around 1 hour by car
