Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform emergency general surgery procedures including bowel resection, trauma surgery, and perforation repairs
Manage incision and drainage of abscesses and wound care
Provide on-call coverage for emergency surgical consultations and interventions
Utilize advanced surgical skills as needed (laparoscopic, vascular, plastic surgery)
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system (MediTech)
