The assignment begins on December 31, 2023, and extends through March 31, 2024, with coverage limited to scheduled clinical hours. Facility Details: Situated in an inpatient setting with a patient load of approximately 15 per shift and a department capacity of 200 beds, you'll find a collaborative and supportive environment. The facility uses the Cerner EMR system, ensuring seamless documentation and communication. Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should hold current board certification, possess an active Texas state license, and be certified in ACLS. The facility is at Trauma Level 4 and does not require pediatric care, making it an ideal opportunity for those with a strong focus on General Surgery. Role and Responsibilities: As a Physician Assistant specializing in Colorectal Surgical Oncology, your responsibilities will encompass providing crucial support during surgeries, conducting thorough hospital follow-ups, and assisting with patient overflow. While prior experience in Colorectal Surgical Oncology is preferred, the facility is open to providing training for motivated candidates.
