Locum Tenens General Surgery Opportunity Near Tornillo, TX Are you a board-certified General Surgeon looking for a rewarding locum tenens position? Position Overview: Location: Near Tornillo, TX
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Call Only
EMR System: Cerner
Practice Details: Practice Setting: This role focuses exclusively on inpatient care, with no outpatient duties required.
Shifts and Coverage: Call Coverage: This position requires you to be on-call, handling emergency surgical cases as needed.
Holidays: Coverage is required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Patients Per Shift: The exact patient load will be determined, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality surgical care.
Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in General Surgery.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Licensing: Must be licensed in Texas. Please note that there is no reimbursement for licensing costs.
Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required for this position.
Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 30 days, with temporary privileges available to expedite the process.
