We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Duchesne, Utah. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is board certified or eligible, with a preference for those with fellowship training. The position requires coverage for both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a primary focus on call coverage. The role offers a flexible schedule with the potential for ongoing assignments.

Practice Details Practice Setting : Both outpatient and inpatient

Patients Per Shift : 1-2

Bed In Department : 19

Rounding : Assigned patients

EMR System : MEDHOST

Responsibilities and Expectations Primary Responsibilities :Provide call coverage for orthopaedic surgery cases

Manage and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions

Perform surgeries and follow-up care as needed

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Participate in rounds for assigned patients

Requirements and Qualifications Certifications :Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (fellowship training preferred)

ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS required

Licensing : Must meet state licensing requirements for Utah; temporary privileges available

Experience : Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required

Schedule and Coverage Shift Details :Call coverage primarily, with potential for additional duties

Initial coverage dates: August 16-19 (7am start)

Ongoing coverage needs anticipated

Allowed Holidays :4th of July

Thanksgiving Day

New Year's Day

Memorial Day

Christmas Day

Labor Day
