Job Quick Facts Specialty: General Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Brattleboro, VT Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Jun 1, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + call Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p Call Schedule: TBD Call Ratio: 1:4 Patient Demographics: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric Ave. No. of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-3 OR Staff: CRNA, Full compliment of scrub techs and circulating nurses Required Procedures: - General Surgical Cases, Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures, Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Surgery Abdominal, Laparoscopic Surg, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, GI Endoscopy Upper, Lower & Colonoscopy. - Additional If Trained as Pediatric Surgeons: Umbilical Defects (Omphalocele, Hernia, Imperforate Anus) Physicians in Practice: 2 Gen Surg + new clinician being hired No. of ORs: 3 (+ Procedure Room) Trauma Level: III EMR: Cerner Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active VT License or IMLC BC/BE in Gen Surg Residency in Gen Surg DEA CPR
