Traditional Pediatrics (Inpatient & Outpatient)South Dakota
Position Highlights: Work-Life Balance: 4.5-day workweek, typical hours 8:30-4:30 M-Th and 8:30-Noon on Fridays (clinics close at noon Fridays) Desirable Practice Setting: Join a growing Pediatrics team, anticipated to grow to 3 Pediatricians total; be part of the interview and selection process for future hires Caseload: Mostly outpatient, with 15-20 outpatient patients per day and 1-2 inpatient patients per day Modern Facility: State-of-the-art ORs, full-service lab and imaging, 24/7 ED, and a system-wide EPIC EMR rollout in 2026Compensation & Benefits: Base Pay: $250,000 for the first 3 years, + Production Incentive: Annual Retention Bonus Professional Development: $5,000 annual CME allowance (up to $1,000 may carry over per year) Generous Time Off: 6 weeks PTO per year (vacation, illness, and CME), plus 6 paid holidaysQualifications: Degree: MD or DO Certifications: BC or BE in Pediatrics Licensure: Must be able to obtain a South Dakota license and pass hospital credentialing Sponsorship: Yes, J-1 or H1BAbout the Community Lifestyle: Ranked the state in the country for physicians to work in, with a low cost of living and a very low crime rate Prime Location: Regional airport access, with driving distance to national parks and nearby attractions Education: Home to two universities, giving the area a bustling, artsy atmosphere with plenty to see and do Shopping and Dining: Local coffee shops and boutiques alongside national retailers
