Duration: 13-week assignment (extension possible)
Shift: 8-hour shifts (day/evening options available)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Contract through VHS
Licensure/Certifications: KY nursing license required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of orthopaedic surgery or orthopedic nursing experience
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

What You ll Do:
Assist in preoperative and postoperative orthopaedic patient care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to ensure quality care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records
What You Need:
Valid Kentucky nursing license (RN)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery or orthopedic nursing
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and equipment
