Job DescriptionCardiothoracic Surgeon opening - Sioux City, IA ### The OpportunitySeeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to lead and build a Cardiothoracic Surgery program in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a high-impact opportunity to build a comprehensive Cardiovascular service line and keep care close to home, utilizing best practices and expertise from established open-heart programs in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Waterloo, and Quad Cities.### Compensation & Benefits

cancer care### Responsibilities\ N Lead and grow a Cardiothoracic Surgery program with strong system support
\ N Collaborate with established Interventional, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, and
Vascular teams\ N Build a sustainable 24-hour call model with shared coverage and PRN/locum support as needed
\ N Leverage a strong referral base from employed physicians and community providers
### Qualifications\ N MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
\ N Unrestricted Iowa medical license (or eligibility)
\ N Unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
\ N Experience building or expanding a program preferred
\ N Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset
\ N Eligible to work in theUnited States (H1-B cap exempt)
\ N J-1 waiver sponsorship available
