Cardiothoracic Surgery opening in Midland, TX - visa eligible * Full-time, permanent opening* Hospital-employed* Visa eligibleA well-established Cardiothoracic Surgery group in West Texas is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a dedicated team. The practice includes 2 experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 2 APPs, serving parts of Southeastern New Mexico, the Permian Basin, and surrounding communities, with a catchment area of approximately 500,000 residents.Position Highlights: * Join the only Cardiothoracic surgery group in the region* Shared call coverage between three nearby hospitals (all within 20 miles)* Dedicated cardiac OR and cardiac anesthesia team* High surgical volume with complex case mix* Collaborative team of physicians and APPsQualifications: * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery* Unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)* Previous experience in Cardiothoracic surgery preferred* Demonstrated proficiency in performing complex surgical proceduresCompensation & Benefits: * Competitive salary with productivity incentives* Sign-on and start bonuses* Relocation assistance* Residency or fellowship stipend support* Paid medical malpractice coverage* Comprehensive benefits package including PTO and retirement plan* CME allowance* Athena EMR (clinic)/Cerner EMR (hospital)Community Overview: This opportunity is based in the Permian Basin of West Texas, home to a dynamic, growing population of more than 350,000, and a patient service area of approximately 500,000.
