Job DescriptionThoracic Surgery Opportunity - Academic Medical Center SettingLocation: Morgantown, West VirginiaEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionSetting: Hospital-Based PracticePosition Highlights:* Provide comprehensive thoracic oncology services in a hospital setting* Opportunity to care for a broad and complex patient population* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality patient outcomes* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives* Maintain all necessary licensure, certifications, and competenciesResponsibilities:* Deliver clinical thoracic surgery services with emphasis on oncology* Participate in institutional meetings, in-services, and continuing education* Align clinical work with the mission and strategic goals of the health system* Maintain positive professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and staff* Ensure documentation and regulatory complianceQualifications:* MD or DO from an accredited medical school* Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Thoracic Surgery* Unrestricted West Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain)* Experience in a hospital or group practice preferredSchedule:* Full-Time, Day Schedule* Regular 1.0 FTECommunity:* Morgantown offers vibrant college-town energy with a population-friendly environment* Home to outdoor recreation, cultural events, dining, and the West Virginia University campus* Convenient location with access to major metropolitan areas in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast
