Locum Tenens Opportunity: Trauma Surgeon Near Yakima, WA We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trauma Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Yakima, WA. This opportunity is perfect for a physician looking to provide essential trauma surgery coverage during a specified period. The role involves scheduled clinical hours and offers a chance to work in a supportive environment.

Shift Details: Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only

Shift Length: 12-hour in-house shifts

Schedule: December 23, 2024, to January 1, 2025

Patients Per Shift: Approximately 25

Practice Setting: Setting: Inpatient only

Rounding: Both inpatient rounding and on-call duties required

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Trauma Surgery

Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)

Licensure: Licensed in Washington State or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)

Temporary Privileges: Available for candidates with clean malpractice history

EMR System: Epic (training may be provided)

Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 30 days

Additional Details: Hospital Stroke Certification: Yes

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Hospital Privileges: Not required, but temporary privileges available

No Call Coverage: No call required

Allowed Holidays: Holidays Off: New Year's Day

4th of July

Memorial Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving Day
