Locum Tenens Vascular Surgeon Location: Near Pueblo, CO Dates: ASAP - Ongoing We are seeking a dedicated Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Pueblo, CO. This role involves providing 24-hour on-call coverage for vascular surgery, including the treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma. The position is crucial for maintaining continuity of care during the coverage period. Position Overview: Position Type : Locum Tenens Specialty : Vascular Surgery Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing, including dates in 2025 Coverage Type : On Call (Daily) Shift Type : 24-Hour Setting : Trauma Level II Key Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour call coverage, including 8 gratis hours Perform surgical treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma Conduct abdominal open/endovascular procedures No support staff provided; independent work required Use EPIC for documentation Qualifications: Board Certification : Board Certified in Vascular Surgery required Certifications : DEA required State License : Licensed in Colorado Weekend Requirements : Yes, includes weekend call coverage Emergency/Temp Privileges : Not applicable Additional Details: FTE : 1.0 Reason for Coverage : Coverage for existing surgeons time off Required Procedures/Job Duties : Abdominal open/endovascular surgeries EMR System : EPIC This opportunity offers a chance to work in a trauma setting with a flexible on-call schedule.
