Job Description
Job Title: Vascular Surgeon

License: PA license required
Certifications: Board Certification in Vascular Surgery (BC or BE) required
Must-Have: Active PA license
Description:
Specialty: Vascular Surgery
Shift Details: 24-hour beeper call
Work Details:
Patients per day: 10-15 consults per week
Surgeries per week: 6-10
Average callback: 6-8 hours per day
Department description: Residents onsite, OR Hybrid, APS, angioplasty
EMR: EPIC
Client bed size: Level 1 trauma, 500 beds
Practice Setting: Client
Requirements:
Licensure in PA is required for submission
Minimum experience of 1 year required
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days with clean file
Temporary privileges may be available for urgent needs
Eligible for urgent needs only for non-complex files
Health requirements: Vaccines, physical, and fit are required
Full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start
Child abuse search and fingerprint collection must be scheduled, with results received within 2 weeks of signing
