Vascular Surgery Locums Job in Minnesota 24-Hour Call Beginning December 1 - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Coverage dates: December 1 ongoing Credentialing time frame: 60 days for clean files (temporary privileges available) Number of providers needed: Enough to cover 24/7/365 (potentially 3-4 providers initially) Shift Details 24-hour pager coverage with inpatient rounding and consults Stretches of coverage preferred Anticipated callbacks: 1-2 times per week Possibility for minimal clinic coverage Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency Completed Vascular Surgery Fellowship Minimum two years of clinical practice experience required Active Minnesota license - Preferred Epic experience - Preferred Required Procedures / Skills Relevant experience with emergent surgeries, including vascular injury from penetrating trauma and ruptured aortic aneurysm repair Assignment Details Primary function: Level 1 trauma coverage with potential for modest clinic coverage for surgical referrals and postoperative visits over time Patient population: 100% adult / geriatric Patient mix: 95%+ inpatient Average volume: 1-2 consults per week, 1-2 urgent/emergent cases per week, and 3-5 total cases per week Facility Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center EMR: Epic The Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
