JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Youngstown, OH Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 Ongoing Shift/Call Schedule: 5 days per month (consecutive) Call Ratio: 5 (1:5) Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 100% Adult and Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 10-15 FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: 1 EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 120 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES Surgery, Inpatient and ED coverage, IP units JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: OH Certifications: BLS, ACLS Other Qualifications: Fellowship required; Clean background/no malpractice or license issues; EMR proficiency (EPIC) Duties & Responsibilities Perform vascular surgeries on adult and geriatric patients. Provide comprehensive inpatient coverage for vascular surgery patients. Consult and manage emergency department patients requiring vascular intervention. Manage inpatient vascular units and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in call schedule including weeknights and weekends as needed.
