JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Surgery Vascular Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Oct 09, 2026 Jan 08, 2027 On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour beeper call Call Type: Beeper PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 10-15 consults per week, 6-10 surgeries per week Case Mix: Vascular surgery including angioplasty FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC Board: BC or BE in Vascular Surgery DEA: Yes Experience: Minimum 1 year experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide vascular surgery consultation services Perform surgical procedures including angioplasty and hybrid OR cases Participate in 24-hour beeper call coverage Supervise and teach residents onsite Manage patient caseload of 10-15 consults and 6-10 surgeries per week
