Emergency Room (ER/Med Surg) RN Quanah, TX Critical Access Facility

Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (rotating schedule, includes weekends)

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Per Diem / Contract

Licensure/Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required

Experience: Minimum 2 years in ER/Med Surg

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95

What You ll Do:

Provide total patient care in a combined ER and Med Surg setting at a critical access hospital.

Manage patient assessments, administer medications, and perform procedures such as IV placement, EKG monitoring, glucose checks, and med passes.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure their safety and comfort.

Chart patient information accurately using CPSI system.

Collaborate with a small, versatile team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.

Adapt to a rotating schedule that includes weekends, with options for block scheduling.

What You Need:

Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ER or Med/Surg settings.

Proficiency in IV insertion, EKG interpretation, and patient assessments.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

This assignment takes place in a facility that serves the Quanah community, providing essential emergency and med-surg services. The hospital is designed for versatility, with nurses performing a broad range of duties in a supportive environment. Housing may be limited; candidates with camper or fifth-wheel RVs are preferred for accommodation.
