Emergency Room RN (Nights) Columbus, TX Are you an experienced Emergency Room nurse seeking a rewarding night shift opportunity? Quick Facts Location: Columbus, TX Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: Night shift (7 pm 7 am) Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed Employment: Contract Licenses/Certifications: TX or Multistate RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (at time of submission) Experience: Minimum 1 year in ER nursing Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25 Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success throughout your assignment What You ll Do Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department with 8 beds and 2 trauma bays Manage and prioritize patient care for an average of 850 patients per month Collaborate with a team of 2 RNs, 1 LVN, and a unit secretary to ensure smooth operations Administer medications, perform assessments, and document utilizing Cerner charting system Respond swiftly to trauma and emergency situations, adhering to Level 4 trauma protocols Maintain compliance with vaccination and safety requirements Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules to ensure staffing coverage What You Need Valid Texas or Multistate RN license Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills About the Assignment Join a fast-paced emergency department at a facility that treats a diverse patient population.
