Quick Facts Location: Childress, Texas Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date/Duration: 02/01/2027 Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts Hours/week: 36-40 Employment Type: Contract Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience: 1+ years in Medical Surgical nursing Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $51.59 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements when applicable Facility housing options available What You ll Do Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population, including ortho, geriatrics, general med-surg, rehab, and occasional pediatrics Manage a patient ratio of 5:1, demonstrating charge capabilities as needed Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols Document patient care activities accurately and timely Support unit operations during your shift, including patient safety and comfort What You Need Required: Valid RN license in Texas BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications At least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience Demonstrated charge nurse capabilities Preferred: Experience with diverse patient populations Ability to work independently and handle clinical responsibilities confidently About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Childress, Texas, offering a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit with a focus on quality patient care.
