Unit Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our Cooper Care Alliance team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on prevention, wellness, and the management of chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.

Short Description

Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to a diverse patient population.

Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating referrals.

Promote preventive care and health education to patients and families.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and specialists.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.

Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Education Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Experience Required

Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting preferred.

Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic).

License/ Certification Requirements Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine.

Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of (Insert State).

DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Special Requirements

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Interest in population health, quality improvement, or teaching.

Hourly Rate Min $1

Hourly Rate Max $999

The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
