We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens position at an established clinic near South Bay, FL. This role offers PRN (as-needed) flexibility, providing an excellent opportunity for qualified physicians looking to support patient care on a flexible schedule in an outpatient urgent care environment.
Position Details Location : Near South Bay, FL
Position : Urgent Care Physician (Locum Tenens)
Type : PRN (as-needed)
Specialty : Board-Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds (required)
Clinic Details Clinic Hours : Open daily, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Schedule : Shifts available 7 days a week; ideal for local candidates who can commute, as lodging/airfare is not included.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : EClinical Works
Patient Age Range : Must be comfortable treating pediatric patients 3 months old and above
Requirements Experience : 3-6 years in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
Board Certification : Required in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds
Local Candidates : Ideal for candidates residing within driving distance of South Bay, FL
Credentialing Process : Expected to take 45-90 days for completion
Additional Information Start Date : Projected for January 1, 2025
Duration : 1-year assignment with potential for renewal or additional shifts
