Job Overview
Fairview Urgent Care provides convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Physicians working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at Fairview Urgent Care centers and at other Fairview clinics in the metro area. Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally.

Qualifications
Completion of the first year of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency training program. (At this time, we are looking to consider only experienced candidates, or those that are currently Family Medicine PGY-2, IM/Peds PGY-2 or PGY-3)
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)
Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients
Must be able to commit to covering at least 10 hours a month, for a minimum of 12 months post-credentialing.
Skills required include suturing, splinting, I and D.
Preferred qualifications: 1-2 years of urgent care or clinic experience.

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
