Locum Tenens Opportunity: Urgent Care Physician Near Little Rock, SC Job ID: j- We are seeking experienced physicians for locum tenens positions in a busy urgent care setting near Little Rock, South Carolina. Position Overview Position Title : Locums - Urgent Care Profession : Physician Specialty : Outpatient Services Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Position Type : Locum Tenens Duration : 1 Year (with potential for extension) Clinic Details Number of Clinics : 7 Clinic Hours : Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EMR System : Practice Velocity Responsibilities and Expectations Primary Responsibilities : Provide urgent care services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries Manage a wide range of patient concerns, from minor injuries to more serious health issues Perform procedures as necessary, such as suturing, splinting, and minor surgical interventions Work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of patients efficiently and effectively Float between various clinic locations as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage Ideal Candidate Experience : 3-6 years in urgent care, family medicine, pediatrics, or emergency medicine Skills : Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work across multiple clinic locations.
