The facility prefers a Primary Care physician with procedure skills, but they don't treat a lot of injuries. They offer DOT physicals and drug screens, so the patient volume is 2 an hour.This can be a cushy position for a younger physician looking to gain experience and build an urgent care practice. The incoming physician will be required to see patients of all ages, including children. This physician should be ready to see everything from cuts and bruises, to fractures, colds and everything in between.Quick Facts: Average patients per day: 38. 40-hours a week position.
