JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Anderson, IN Service Setting: Outpatient/Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Call/Shift Schedule: TBD 1 week/month Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Callback %: 10 Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 8 Admissions: Yes Phone Consults: 2 FACILITY INFORMATION Beds in the Dept: 25 EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 1, MAs: 1, Office Staff: 1 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: General Urology Partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Licensed in IN or IMLC Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ABLS Fellowship: Required Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient urology services during week-long blocks. Perform required urological procedures and surgeries. Manage beeper call with a 30-minute response time. Care for a daily patient volume averaging 8 patients. Document patient encounters in Epic EMR.
