JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-70028 Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Kearney, Nebraska Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: Nov 26, 2026 Nov 30, 2026 and Dec 24, 2026 Dec 28, 2026 Shift Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7a 7a Reason for Coverage: Previous locum scheduled cancelled stint COVERAGE DATES Nov 26, 2026 Nov 30, 2026 (7a 7a) Dec 24, 2026 Dec 28, 2026 (7a 7a) PATIENT INFORMATION Admissions: No handled by hospitalists Case Mix: General Urology FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level II EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: Surgery nurses and techs on call PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 3-4 weeks REQUIRED PROCEDURES General Urology JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Licenses: Active NE license (or eligibility to apply) DEA: Active DEA certification Certifications: Board Certified Other Qualifications: Case logs from last 2 years required; EPIC proficiency required Duties & Responsibilities Provide urology call coverage for Level II Trauma center and hospital. Receive handoff from urologists as appropriate. Manage consults from the emergency department. Perform general urology procedures as needed. Coordinate with surgery nurses and techs on call.
