The salary range for this position is $500,000.00 - $630,000.00 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description
Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) seek a full‑time Medical Director of Vascular Surgery in the North Region. Primary responsibilities include providing the full breadth of vascular surgery services at Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital and Grayslake Hospital, managing the non‑invasive vascular laboratory, and handling service calls, rounding, pre‑op and post‑op patient care, and responding to local consultation requests and referrals. Preferred candidates will play a vital role in the growth and coordination of care and other distinctive programming throughout the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute. This position includes an appointment as a Health System Clinician as an employed physician with the Northwestern Medical Group.
Vascular surgeons in this position may participate in academic programs of the Feinberg School of Medicine, including educational programs (e.g., teaching service, training, preceptorship, mentoring) or research programs (e.g., participation in clinical trials, referring patients for clinical trials).
Qualifications
Strong background in clinical vascular and endovascular surgery.
Completed an ACGME accredited vascular surgery fellowship program.
Board certified in vascular surgery.
At least three years post‑fellowship experience as an attending vascular surgeon.
