Physician - Neurology
Job Details:
Serve as Medical Director of a comprehensive Memory Care Program, providing visionary leadership and oversight in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership
Provide personalized, coordinated outpatient evaluation and care for memory patients - no inpatient call or hospital-based care required
Champion the development and implementation of standardized practices and clinical pathways to ensure seamless patient access and efficient throughput
Lead a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology, Clinical Social Work, and Advanced Practice Nursing
Utilize advanced diagnostics including dementia biomarkers, neurocognitive testing, and amyloid PET imaging
Oversee innovative therapies including anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatments
Recruit and supervise faculty and practice personnel while fostering a positive, patient-centric care environment
Lead Memory Care Clinical Council meetings with representation from multiple disciplines, regions, and care venues
Collaborate with providers across multiple disciplines, councils, regions, and institutes to form a seamless care continuum
Develop care protocols incorporating the latest brain imaging techniques, dementia biomarker testing, genetic risk factor assessment, and disease-modifying therapies
Educate residents on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders and initiate clinical research programs related to cognitive disorders
Participate in departmental activities related to patient care, teaching, research, and related matters
Ideal candidate is a BE/BC Cognitive Neurologist, Memory Care Specialist, or General Neurologist with fellowship training and expertise in dementia-related cognitive disorders
