Applied Materials Ion Implant Defect Science group is seeking a Physicist/Scientist to join our team in Gloucester, MA. The role focuses on defect formation and transport mechanisms to improve yields in semiconductor process tools, with cross‑functional collaboration across products.
Ideal candidates hold a PhD and have strong data analysis skills using Python/MATLAB/JMP, hands‑on lab experience, and experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
