n nObjective
nThe pilot in command falls under the flight crew division of the charter flight operations and is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and FAA regulations. The purpose of the flight operations department is to provide safe, secure, convenient air transportation in line with client demands.
nThe primary focus of the Million Air/American Jet International team is saving lives, which provides a unique life style option to the typical 135 pilot with extended trips away from home and family.
nThe 135-charter fleet is made up of a variety of mid cabin aircraft. We will train in specific aircraft type with requisite hours.
nResponsibilities and Duties
nnnWork to ensure safety is never compromised, working with the safety manager
n
nnGreet guests in a friendly and professional manner
n
nnDevelop a rapport with aircraft owners and passengers
n
nnInspect aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep prior to guest arrival
n
nnCommunicate often and in a timely fashion in person, by phone, and by email. Advise flight ops of customer preferences
n
nnMaintain the highest level of competency and skill within your assigned aircraft type
n
nnMust be able to operate independently as this is a remote base assignment
n

nReporting Relationship
nThis position reports to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations
nWork Environment
nThis position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.
nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work
nThis is an exempt position.This position includes varying duty schedules which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays. Scheduling flexibility a must
nTravel
nNo travel expected outside of Pilot duties.
nRequired Education and Experience
nnnPreference will be given to pilots already typed and experienced in the Gulfstream G-150
n
nnPossess an ATP certificate preferred
n
nnHave acquired 2500 hours total time, and previous 135 experience preferred
n
nnPossess a valid 1st class medical
n
nnbe or become highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations
n
nnMeet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c)
n
n nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications
nnnAcceptable driving record
n
nnAbility to pass a background check
n
nnZero tolerance drug free company
n
nnMust live within 45 minutes of Dallas Love Airport (KDAL)
n
