Pilot Plant Operator, 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri, 2:30 Pm-10:30 PmThe Role:Our 870 Aurora site is seeking a Pilot Plant Associate II (2nd shift) to join our Operations team. The role is responsible for routine support of one or more pilot plant functions and sustaining activities. Responsibilities include cleanroom & customer sample manufacture and process development.Sustaining activities include inventory control, routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and instrumentation, developing and updating department systems, and processing ERP batch transactions.What You'll Do:Executes routine/sequential tasks using detailed work instructions to manufacture lab or pilot scale slurries. Tasks include storage, handling, and use of chemicals; routine physical property measurements; operation of standard unit operations (mixers, pumps, filters); timely & accurate documentation of results.Identify and assist in the resolution of process OOC conditionsUses good judgment to recognize and address deviations from standards, and equipment calibration to assure a high degree of accuracy and consistency in experimental resultsUses an understanding of equipment, instrumentation, and project goals to contribute to the development of accurate, detailed, and robust recipes as well as capable and robust processesFollows established procedures and comply with standard systems to order, receive, handle, store, and ship materials as well as maintain equipment and instrumentationTroubleshoots equipment and perform basic maintenance. DIW and Wastewater System checks. Verify and calibrate equipment as appropriateDisposes of Non-hazardous waste material, stocks lab supplies, and completes general daily housekeepingActively participates in Entegris Safety initiatives and processes. Adheres to all EH&S guidelines and policies within the company, all relevant ISO procedures and maintains personal safety within the workplaceWhat We Seek:Basic mathematical skillsProven understanding of equipment and instrumentationAbility to operate and troubleshoot basic laboratory and pilot-scale equipment and instrumentationAbility to construct experimental processes from basic componentsProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Flexible and adaptable to variable schedule changesQuality-minded with a strong customer focus.Ability to drive Forklift to transport Raw materials/Finish goodsAbility to work independently in a multi-tasking mode as well as a contributor in a team environmentEffective oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.Able to lift up to 50lbsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent with 1-year required.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Working Schedule:Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm (overtime may be required, as per business needs)Weekend shifts will vary when neededOutstanding Candidates Will Have:Relative IndustryAbility to multi-taskAttention to DetailWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunities to our employees and promote from within.
