Drawing on thousands of patents and a portfolio with applications across the textile, flooring, chemical and healthcare businesses, the company harnesses a shared sense of integrity and excellence to positively impact the world for generations.Responsibilities:Support warp preparation, tie-in procedures, and material handling functions to ensure continuous production flowIdentify and verify correct Control Cards for all warpsUse of Warp Out truckPerform warp tying in accordance with established proceduresLease out warp and ensure accurate yarn separationUpdate and maintain the Warp Board Sheet accuratelyPerform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work areaFill LIME storage containers as requiredPerform battery changing and charging for the Warp TruckTighten beam bolts safely and correctlyIdentify S & Z twist problems in belting stylesManage job priorities based on production schedulingMaintain and organize the Warp Storage AreaExecute Warp Out Procedures including BARCO declarationsTroubleshoot knotter issues including: Single-end breaks, Double-end issues, Slip knots, Clog-upsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredManufacturing or textile experience preferred but not requiredAbility to read production instructions, quality specifications, and safety documentsPhysical Requirements:Standing or walking for 8 hours or more per shiftAbility to remain in a stationary position (standing or seated) during equipment operationAbility to move/traverse the production floor, including accessing creel areas, equipment, and materialsAbility to lift and carry production materials (spools, bobbins, resin containers, waste packages), typically up to 50 lbs.Stooping, bending, reaching overhead, and occasional ladder/platform climbingAbility to operate machine controls, touchscreens, tools, and adjustments requiring fine motor skillsAbility to sustain repetitive motions during extended production runsAbility to visually inspect products, monitor displays, and identify non-conforming conditionsAbility to tolerate heat, temperature variations, and abnormal environmental conditions typical of manufacturingWork Environment:Work is performed primarily on the production floor, near moving machinery and ongoing process linesNoise levels vary; hearing protection may be requiredExposure to fibers, lint, dust, and particulates typical of textile operationsExposure to heat from extrusion zones and fluctuating seasonal temperaturesWork may involve tight/confined areas, ladder use, and navigating around machineryRequired use of PPE: safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and other items per task areaOther Duties:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of duties.
