This role requires hands-on pipe installation knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to operate equipment effectively in the field.What You'll DoOperate trackhoe to dig trench, prep holes, set pipe, and backfillSupervise and direct backfill operators, pipe layers, and laborersEnsure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficientlyPrepare daily timecards with multiple tasks, machines, and employeesMaintain a clean and safe work area while identifying and addressing hazardsComply with all safety guidelines and requirementsWhat We're Looking ForAt least 5 years of sewer, water, and storm drain pipe experienceAbility to read plans, shoot and understand grades, and set up a pipe laserProven leadership skills in managing crews and coordinating workValid U.S. driver's license and DOT Medical CardMust pass a pre-employment drug screenMust be at least 18 years oldPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsFrequent climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 50–100 lbsRegular crouching, kneeling, and use of heavy machineryWork performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise levelsExposure to hazards such as moving equipment, vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, and elevated work areasVehicle operation may include inspecting, fueling, minor maintenance, and extended driving while following all traffic lawsQualificationsWhy Join Hadco?At Hadco Construction, we believe our people are our greatest strength.
