Pipe Testers WantedEnvironmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking Pipe Testers to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will use a torque wrench to test steel pipes. This position is available on first shift.Benefits:Weekly PayMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401(k) with a generous company matchFree Basic Life InsuranceShort & Long-Term DisabilitySchedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessaryLocation: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263Responsibilities:Climb laddersUse a torque wrench on up to 700 lbs of steel pipeHandle materialWork safely and adhere to all safety rules and policiesWork in a fast-paced team environmentEducation Requirements/Qualifications:Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish requiredMinimum of a high school education or equivalentPrevious experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferredJob Requirements/Special Skills:Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish requiredAbility to read a tape measure requiredAbility to read blueprints preferredAbility to work independently and on a teamStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shiftAbility to stand and work for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
