Job description
Pipe Welder/FitterWe are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder/Fitter to support construction and facility operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position will perform welding and fabrication on process piping, structural steel, and facility equipment, including both normal and high-pressure piping systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG (GTAW) pipe welding on process piping systemsWeld and fabricate piping, structural steel, supports, and related componentsCut, fit, fabricate, and assemble metal components according to drawings and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding proceduresPerform welds in accordance with ASME B31.3 and AWS D1.1Inspect completed welds for quality and complianceUse welding, cutting, fitting, and precision measuring equipmentFollow all site safety requirements and proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of TIG/GTAW pipe welding experience1+ year of process piping experienceExperience with ASME B31.3 normal and high-pressure pipingAbility to fit and build piping runs using measurement and layout toolsExperience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, fitting, arc gouging, and oxy-acetylene is preferredKnowledge of AWS/ASME welding codes and welding safety practices preferredSchedule & RequirementsMust be flexible to work 6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM, including overtime and weekends as neededMust be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spacesMust be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding workMust meet applicable U.S. export-control/ITAR eligibility requirements INDH
