You'll read prints, fit and assemble pipe components, and safely operate welding and power tools. This role focuses on consistent quality, safety, and teamwork while keeping jobs moving efficiently.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do (Essential Functions):Read and interpret blueprints and welding specificationsAssemble, install, align, and repair pipe systems.Pass ASME B31.3 6G MIG welding test on 2" & 6" SA.106grB-carbon steel pipeConsistently meet X-ray quality standards.Operate welding, hand, and power tools safely.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.Communicate effectively with team members and customers.Demonstrate strong time management, professionalism, and teamworkQualificationsWhat You Bring (Skills, Abilities, Experience):A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.Certification in welding is a plus.2-4 years of pipe welding is required.The ability to troubleshoot and a strong attention to detail are required.Strong math skills are preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.Must adhere to the Company's attendance policy.Experience with GMAW and FCAWWork is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
