Job description
Pipe Welder (Entry Level)We are seeking a Pipe Welder to join our team, serving the Knoxville, Newport, Loudon, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience welding carbon steel pipes in industrial, commercial, or construction settings and possess the ability to pass a 6G weld test in a fixed position. Also recent/current trade school students are encourage to apply.ResponsibilitiesPerform welding on carbon steel pipes in industrial, commercial, or construction settings.Pass a 6G weld test in a fixed position.Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.Maintain welding equipment.Adhere to all safety requirements.Essential SkillsExperience with welding carbon steel pipes.Proficiency in stick welding, pipe welding, MIG, and TIG welding.Ability to pass a 6G weld test in a fixed position.Why Work Here?Join a smaller, family-oriented company where employees receive hands-on training and do not feel like just a number. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
