Stainless Pipe Welder OpportunitySkillforce is currently hiring experienced Stainless Pipe Welders for a shop-based welding project in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have solid experience welding stainless steel pipe, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding.This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for steady hours on a short-term project.Job Responsibilities:TIG weld stainless steel pipe in a shop environmentPerform high-quality welds according to project specificationsRead and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specificationsPrepare, fit, and weld stainless steel pipe and componentsInspect completed welds for quality and accuracyMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all company and job-site safety proceduresPerform other welding and fabrication duties as assignedRequirements:Proven experience welding stainless steel pipeStrong TIG welding experience requiredAbility to produce clean, quality weldsMust be able to successfully complete a weld testAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have reliable transportationMust be willing to complete a drug screen and background checkCompensation & Schedule:$28–$36/hour, based on experience and skill level40 hours per weekApproximately 2-month projectShop environmentOpportunity for additional work based on project availabilityBenefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, weekly pay, paid time off, and 401k.If you are an experienced Stainless Pipe Welder with strong TIG skills and are looking for a short-term opportunity in Indianapolis, apply today!
