Job description
PipefitterWe are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for a project at a school. The successful candidate will lead helpers in fitting carbon steel pipes up to 6 inches, focusing on chiller and boiler hookups, and working in mechanical rooms. Experience with steam pipes is essential, as well as the ability to lead small teams to ensure proper upfit and read blueprints.ResponsibilitiesLead and guide helpers in fitting carbon steel pipes up to 6 inches.Ensure proper installation of chiller and boiler hookups.Work efficiently in mechanical rooms and with steam pipes.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Lead small teams to achieve project goals effectively.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial pipe fitting.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience with fitting carbon steel, steam pipes, and working in mechanical environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a foreman or leading small teams.Familiarity with chillers and boilers.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your expertise is valued.
