Job description
Experienced Pipefitter - Prefabrication Shop
Trade Management , a leader in skilled trades staffing, is currently hiring Experienced Pipefitters for a prefabrication shop in the DFW area. We are seeking experienced candidates who are looking to grow their careers while working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems for water, steam, chemicals, and gases.
Read and interpret ISO drawings and blueprints to fabricate piping systems accurately.
Perform pipe layout, measurements, and take-offs.
Measure and identify inside and outside pipe diameters .
Cut, fit, and assemble pipe according to specifications.
Support testing and inspection of piping systems to ensure quality and compliance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company and OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
3+ years Experience working as a Pipefitter in a commercial or industrial environment is required.
Must be able to read and interpret ISO drawings and blueprints.
Experience working in a pipe prefabrication (prefab) shop is preferred.
Knowledge of inside and outside pipe diameters, take-offs, and pipe layout .
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Must have your own hand tools.
Reliable transportation.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
