Job description
PipefitterDuties include, but are not limited to:Repairing and maintaining water, sewer, steam, natural gas, medical gas, and fire sprinkler systems; including: hot water heaters, regulating valves, fixtures, and back flow devices.Read blue prints and read and interpret instructions, and specifications as related to pipe fitting.Repair and installation of domestic water systems; fire sprinkler system piping; repair of valves, regulators, filter systems, toilets, sinks, and associated piping.Performs plumbing and steam fitting work necessary in the installation of equipment.Assists with the installation/repair of mechanical pumping systems; including, sump pumps, brine pumps, condensate pumps, and pulverizing systems.Have knowledge of medical gas systems.Work Schedule: M-F (Intermittent, check with supervisor) Position Description Title/PD#: Pipefitter/PD11962A Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized
