We're hiring experienced Pipefitters in Maryville, TN with weekly pay, and full benefits! Bring your work ethic - we're ready for you!Responsibilities:Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment.Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.Requirements:Minimum 5 years experience Commercial/Industrial PipefittingMust have own basic hand toolsMust be familiar with butt welds on carbon and stainlessOSHA 10 OR 30 PREFERREDWork at heights as requiredComplete tasks as assigned by the site supervisorPerform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervisionMust be able to follow both verbal and written instructionsComplete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shiftWork all hours assigned.Must be authorized to work in the United StatesMust have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportationMust pass drug screen and all required background checks.What we offer:Medical insuranceVision insuranceDental insuranceAll employees must have proper PPE hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses and work gloves.All SLS employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
