We hire ambitious and dedicated professionals to fill positions at all levels of our organization.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year experience on a utility crewWorking knowledge of shoring and excavationAbility to read cut/grade sheetsWork in outdoor environments in all seasonsBe comfortable working alongside heavy equipment and able to communicate with operators, workers and pedestriansMust pass pre-employment physical/drug screeningResponsibilities:Installation and repair of waterline, sanitary sewer and storm sewerAbility to align and position pipes to prepare them for joining.Ability to connect pipe pieces and seal jointsInstall and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levelsAbility to check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasersAssist with the covering of pipes with earth or other materials.Cut pipes to required lengthsDig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching toolsGrade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand toolsWork in confined and enclosed spacesWilling to train others in pipe-laying and provide supervision.Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are metEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co-workersJob Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundLocation: Various JobsitesWorking Hours: Typical start time varies between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.Benefits: Competitive salary, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with Company Match and Company Contribution, and Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.For this role the base hourly range is $20.00-$30.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
