Job description
Pipeline Laborers
At RDR, we have a strong focus on growth and recruitment and employ only the best local talent within our region. RDR is seeking Pipeline Laborers to round out our Piping and Mechanical team.
Job Summary:
Read meters, gauges, or automatic recording devices on specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
Record temperature of equipment, hours of operation, fuel consumed, temperature or pressure, liquid levels, etc.
Adjusts manual controls or automated set points to keep equipment in recommended or prescribed operating ranges, switch to backup equipment or systems, or to shut down equipment.
Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, repacking bearings, replacing packing glands, gaskets, valves, recorders, and gauges, and cleaning or replacing burners or other components.
Load and unload equipment and materials from Trucks and Trailers with the use of proper rigging tools and lifting techniques
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
Willing and able to work safely in a construction environment.
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. bend, stoop, kneel and climb.
Able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
