nnPosition Overview:
nWe are hiring a Planner / Detailer to bridge design, engineering, and manufacturing. This is a hands-on role responsible for CAD modeling, production detailing, cost estimating, and production planning.
nnYou will take projects from concept through manufacturing by creating 3D models, shop drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and production routings, while collaborating closely with design, estimating, production, and installation teams.
nnThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical design (CAD/detailing) and manufacturing planning (BOMs, costing, processes).
nnKey Responsibilities:
nnCreate 3D CAD models and production drawings for retail fixtures and décor
nDevelop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in ERP/MRP systems
nAnalyze project scope and define manufacturing, packaging, and installation approaches
nGenerate cost estimates for labor, materials, and production processes
nCollaborate with design, estimating, production, and installation teams to ensure successful execution
nTranslate concepts into accurate shop drawings and production-ready documentation
nMonitor production progress, identify issues, and recommend solutions
nApply knowledge of materials (wood, metal, plastics) and manufacturing methods to optimize designs
nParticipate in production and installation kickoff meetings
nSupport product lifecycle improvements, including cost reduction and value engineering
n nRequirements:n
Qualifications:
nn2–5+ years of experience in CAD detailing, production planning, or product development
nProficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and BOM management
nAbility to read and interpret shop drawings, architectural drawings, and specifications
nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (metal, wood, plastics)
nSolid math skills (geometry, material calculations, estimating)
nStrong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills

nnAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Construction, or related field
n nSchedule & Location:
nnOnsite in Eugene, OR
nMonday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
nOccasional overtime based on project demand
