Plant Accounting ClerkWarren RECC is seeking a detail oriented Plant Accounting Clerk at our Bowling Green, KY office! The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Plant Accountant with maintenance of plant, equipment, and material records. This position requires a high degree of integrity, pleasant disposition, joy in working with numbers, and must be a good listener.What you will do in this role:Assist with data entryPrepare job cost estimatesHelp with billing on projects special jobsAssist with fixed asset recordsAid in semi-annual physical inventory countsPrepare journal entriesSupport for the Accounts Payable SpecialistAssist with annual auditsRequirements for the job:Willingness to learnAccounting, Business, or Finance major preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeAptitude for mathematicsBasic understanding of financial and accounting principlesAttention to detailAbility to multitaskExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBenefitsPractical experience with a wide variety of accounting activitiesShadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with seasoned professionalsFlexible schedule for studentsCompensated internshipWarren RECC is a not-for-profit, member-owned, distribution electric cooperative who's mission is to make sure our community thrives.
