About the Role
The Plant Controller provides financial leadership for two manufacturing sites, partnering closely with plant leadership and regional finance. You’ll oversee core financial processes, strengthen cost controls, and support operational decision‑making that drives performance across both facilities.
Responsibilities
Lead plant controlling activities including month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Partner with plant leadership to deliver financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support
Oversee standard costing, inventory accounting, CAPEX, fixed assets, and cost‑improvement initiatives
Manage cost‑tracking activities including tariffs, surcharges, and customer billing support
Strengthen internal controls, support audits, ensure compliance, and improve financial processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounting
Background in budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and financial reporting
Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory control, and manufacturing accounting
Skilled communicator with the ability to influence operational and financial decisions
Required Skills
Expertise in manufacturing finance, standard costing, and inventory accounting
Strong capability in financial reporting, analysis, and operational support
Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to cross‑functional teams
Strong documentation, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to build trust with plant leaders and business partners
