Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of power generation and industrial engine solutions and is adding a Plant Controller to its leadership team
The role reports directly to senior finance leadership and serves as a key business partner to plant operations
High-visibility position with direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making

Play a critical role in supporting a manufacturing facility that is experiencing significant growth and expansion
Salary
Salary: $145,000-$170,000

Key Responsibilities For The Plant Controller
Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end close and financial statement preparation
Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, inventory, and plant performance metrics
Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
Ensure accurate inventory accounting, cycle count programs, and physical inventory processes
Monitor standard costs and support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff within the facility
Qualifications For The Plant Controller
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment
Publicly traded experience would be nice to see
